May 31 to July 1
Beginning May 31st, visit your local public library, read at least one book
per week and receive a free reading incentive, while supplies last.
Children as young as preschoolers to grade six may participate. Hawaiiʼs
public libraries will provide free fun programs, encouraging young readers
to explore places from Oceania to Russia through stories, crafts, music,
dance and other activities.

The five-week program will also feature excellent, family-friendly

storytelling performances statewide by mainland and local artists.
