Kent Park—Valley View Parking Lot The majority of the State of Iowa was once covered by tall grass prairies. Today little remains of these magnificent ecosystems. Dave Wehde, Vegetation Specialist for the Johnson County Conservation Board will be on hand to lead an informative hike around the beautiful Valley View prairies in F.W. Kent Park. Please wear long pants, close-toed shoes and be prepared to hike through the beauty of Iowa as it was intended.
