Please also note that we will make 2 groups of student for survey. Group 1 will interview 9 Organizations and Group 2 will interviews 15 SME. Students will also conduct similar surveys at Nong Kai,Mae Sod and Bangkok as next activities (maybe in June and July). Student’s all transport, accommodation and food will be provided free of charge and daily allowance (DA) about 250 baht/day About 8 students from MFU will conduct surveys at Mukdahan during 8-11 June 2011. Students will leave from Chiangrai on evening of 7 June and have 3 working days. But they will receive research allowance for 5 days for this trip. Survey activities (Interviews) have 2 main parts: (A) TFP based on institutions: (i) Port, (ii) Airport, (iii) border crossing (Road), (iv) commercial banks, (v) Customs, (vi) foreign exchange control agency, (vii) preshipment inspection, (viii) Chamber of commerce and Industry, and (ix) Department of Trade and Industry ; (B) TFP faced by SME (about 15 companies per border) …………………………………………………………………………………….. 7) If survey is for 3 working days (eg. 15, 16,17 June), student can get DA for 5 days.
But student MUST attend
(i) survey-instruction on questionnaires on 14 June about 1 hr and (ii) survey-verification (checking collected questionnaires) for 1 hr on one day.
