GU2010 CAMPUS PLAN PROPOSED PARKING CONDITIONS Student Vehicles: i.

The University shall prohibit students who reside in University housing from bringing cars to campus or to Zip Code 20007. 1 Any violation of this policy shall be grounds for discipline under the University's Code of Student Conduct. The University shall appropriately sanction any discovered violators and maintain related records.

ii. The University shall notify all students who reside in housing that is not owned by the University in Zip Code 20007 that they are required to adhere to University policy and District regulations regarding car ownership and registration. Any violation of this policy or oflocallaw shall be grounds for discipline under the University's Code of Student Conduct. The University shall appropriately sanction any discovered violators and maintain related records. iii. Notice of these restrictions will be included in at least one annual communication issued to all students and to the parents of traditional undergraduate students. 1v. The University shall require all undergraduate students who reside in housing that is not owned by the University in Zip Code 20007 and have cars to register their vehicles with the University by providing the license plate number and state of issuance, description of vehicle, and associated address. The University shall maintain this information and update it annually during the fall semester. University Visitors: v. The University shall use reasonable efforts to prohibit construction employees, contractors, and subcontractors from parking on the streets adjacent to and surrounding the University campus. vi. The University shall use reasonable efforts to provide University visitors advance notification of that parking is very limited on and around the University campus, and encourage visitors to use public transit, taxis or GUTS shuttles.

1 The University may permit certain students who live on campus to park on campus in exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances may include, for example, transportation needs related to a disability or health condition of the student or member of his/her family. Requests for a policy exception due to exceptional circumstances must be documented by the student and approved by the University. If such an exception is granted, the vehicle must be parked in a University parking facility.
