Struggle for Immigrant & Worker's Rights
OPPOSE H87 AND ALL REPRESSIVE LEGISLATION AGAINST LATIN@ IMMIGRANTS! SUPPORT ALL IMMIGRANTS RESISTING RACIST ATTACKS!

Since the passage of Arizonas infamous SB1070, immigrant workers have come under continued attack. Though blocked by a federal judge, the Georgia legislatures HB87 is the most recent example in the South, where legislatures in Alabama and South Carolina have passed equally or more repressive laws. This is a critical development because the Black Belt South, the home of the majority of the US Black population, has become where Latin@ immigrant workers, as well as immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean, are under increasing attack. These attacks are spearheaded by right wing/white supremacist elected officials, and must be resisted by African American and immigrant communities organizing and struggling together. When there is oppression there is struggle. In 2010 Freedom Road joined hundreds of thousands who rallied to stop Arizona's SB1070 and demand full democratic rights and comprehensive immigration reform. The immigrant rights movement needs to dig in as the class struggle intensifies. NOW is the time to build our organizations of struggle.
