God always rewards our prayers with much more than what we deserve and ask for Eph

3:20-21 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. A. He is able to do things abundantly 1. He is not an absentee God, He is able and available 2. He is the God of the impossible Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

B. He has done so already, and is willing to do more things abundantly 1. SING: I ASKED THE LORD
I asked the Lord to comfort me when things weren't going my way; And He said to me, "I will comfort you and lift your cares away." I asked the Lord to walk with me, when darkness was all that I knew; And He said to me "Never be afraid, for I will see you through." I didn't ask for riches, He gave me wealth untold, The moon, the stars, the sun, the sky, He gave me eyes to behold. I thank the Lord for eve rything, and I count all my blessings each day; He came to me when I needed Him, I only had to pray. And Hell come to you, if you ask Him to, He's only a prayer away!

All kinds of people have their testimonies of answered prayers 2. The demons are able to answer prayer, but the result is ungodliness and a lie (2 Thes. 2:9) 3. If you talk to a dead saint and your prayers are answered, it is a LIE a. Talking to the dead is sin (Deut 18:11; Isa. 8:19) b. The real saints do not listen to us, they are busy admiring the Lord c. The rest of the dead are busy suffering the torments He does it abundantly for His own glory (Eph. 3:21) He always does it abundantly, throughout all the ages 1. Because he loves to do what he does best 2. Because he loves the glory that he gets out of doing what he does (Ps. 22:3; Rev. 8:4)
