scissors wooden skewers hot-glue gun Wooden spools Step 1 Use circle cutter or template to make a 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, 5-inch & 6-inch diameter circle from card stock (for small trees omit the 6-inch circle) Step 2 Fold each circle in half 4 times (creating 8 pie shapes). Flip the circle over and fold in half 4 more times the other direction (creating 16 pie shapes). While circles are folded, snip off the tip of each piece, forming a very small hole in the center. Step 3 Place the circles on wooden skewer with the largest one on the bottom. Space them according to how you would like your tree to look and mark them on the skewer with a pencil. Determine where your wooden spool needs to be as well. Remove the circles and trim the skewer accordingly (approximately 6 inches for 5 circle tree). With a hot glue gun, dab some hot glue on the first mark, slide the biggest circle onto the skewer down to the glue. Dab a little more hot glue at the top of the circle where paper and skewer meet. Once secure repeat with each circle. Step 4 Finally hot glue the skewer into the wooden spool, be sure your tree is standing straight up. Step 5 Add a dot of glue to the top of point of the skewer and attach tree topper. Get Creative!
