where is our solar system in the milky way galaxy

Our sun one in 200 billions of stars in the galaxy make up of our home in the solar system. Which is in the milky way known as galaxy. Milky way is shaped as a disc and solar system lies within the disc. The disc mostly constitutes of dust and gasses. We are located at equatorial symmetry plan of the milky way which is estimated at 14 light years from the core of galaxy. So the solar system is calculated to be very near the equator of milky way. Our solar system is where new stars are born. In celestial term we would be on the Orion spur of the Sagittarius Arm.
