Reinvent something old
Find an old T-shirt and ask your
mum or dad if you can reinvent
it. Jazz it up with fabric paint,
­sequins, buttons and patches.
Reinvent your room
Sometimes just moving a few
pieces of furniture (or picking
make your room feel new. Make
posters for the walls, and use
things from around the house to
make it seem brand new.
Invent a sandwich
Empty the fridge
and see what crazy
combinations you
can come up with –
nectarine and meat-
balls, cheese and jam –
and then ask someone in your
family to try them! Be sure to
name them.
Come up with a signature
Write your name 100 times on a
piece of paper trying different
styles. Who knows, you might

has freckles – just make sure it’s
some percussion instruments
such as maracas and drums.
Pick a singer and a song and,
hey presto, you’ve got a band.
Write to the prime minister
You can make a
­difference! Do you feel
strongly about some-
thing? Should we ban
cars, fine people who
swear in the street or
make sweets compulsory
for kids? Then write a letter to
the prime minister.
Eat breakfast for dinner!
Make up your own Olympics
Invent five events – you could
include leapfrog, a wheelbarrow
race, cartwheels, or anything
you fancy. Split your friends
into teams, pick a country to
represent and make some
medals out of foil-covered card.
