LEVEL Knob ThetriggerlevelmovesupwhenthetriggerLEVEL knobisturnedclockwise. Thetriggerlevelmovesdownwhenthetrigger LEVELknobisturnedcounterclockwise.

Theoscilloscopesweepsregardlessof theexistenceoftriggerconditions. Theoscilloscopesweepsonlywhena triggerconditionoccurs.
