Proverbs 18: 12 Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes

honor. Proverbs 18: 13 what a shame, what folly, to give advice before listening to the facts! Proverbs 18: 19 its harder to make amends with an offended friend than to capture a fortified city. Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with iron bars. Proverbs 18: 21 those who love to talk will experience the consequences, for the tongue can kill or nourish life. Proverbs 18: 24 there are friends who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. 2 Kings 18:5 7 Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was never another king like him in the land of Judah, either before or after his time. He remained faithful to the Lord in everything, and he carefully obeyed all the commands the Lord had given Moses. So the Lord was with him, and Hezekiah was successful in everything he did Romans 21: 13 its not merely knowing the law that brings Gods approval. Those who obey the law will be declared right in Gods sight. 2 Kings 20:5 this is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears Ephesians 2:13 Though you once were far away from God, now you have been brought near to him because of the blood of Christ. Isaiah 40:28 Have you never heard or understood? Dont you know that the Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.

*Psalm 4: 3 you can be sure of this: The Lord has set apart the godly for
himself. The Lord will answer when I call to him. Psalm 4: 4 don't sin by letting anger gain control over you. Think about it overnight and remain silent. Ephesians 4:26 and "don't sin by letting anger gain control over you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry. Psalm 4: 7 you have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and wine. Psalm 5: 4 O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot

tolerate the slightest sin. Psalm 5:5-6Therefore, the proud will not be allowed to stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil. You will destroy those who tell lies. The Lord detests murderers and deceivers. Psalm 5:7 Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; with deepest awe I will worship at your Temple.

PRAYER: Psalm 5:8 Lead me in the right path, O Lord, or my enemies

will conquer me. Tell me clearly what to do, and show me which way to turn. Psalm 5:11-12 but let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Protect them, so all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, O Lord, surrounding them with your shield of love.

Psalm 12:7 Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation .8 even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land. Romans 1:1- 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.* 19 for the truth about God is known to them instinctively.* God has put this knowledge in their hearts. 20 From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualitieshis eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldnt worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes. 24 So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each others bodies. 25 Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God; they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. Psalm 14: 1 only fools say in their hearts, There is no God. They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; no one does well! Psalm 14:6 the wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the Lord

will protect his people. Colossians 1:12-14 [12 always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the inheritance that belongs to Gods holy people, who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of

darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. 14 God has purchased our freedom with his blood* and has forgiven all our sins.] Ephesians 1: 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people.*

Psalm 15
A psalm of David. 1 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? 2Those who lead blameless lives And do what is right, Speaking the truth from sincere hearts. 3 Those who refuse to slander others Or harm their neighbors Or speak evil of their friends. 4 Those who despise persistent sinners, And honor the faithful followers of the Lord And keep their promises even when it hurts. 5 Those who do not charge interest on the money they lend, And who refuse to accept bribes to testify against the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.

Psalm 17:7

show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. You

save with your strength those who seek refuge from their enemies.

PSALM 18:25-26

25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful; To those with integrity you show integrity. 26 To the pure you show yourself pure, But to the wicked you show yourself hostile. Psalm 18:27 you rescue those who are humble, but you humiliate the proud. Psalm 18:29 in your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect. All the Lords promises

prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. Psalm 18:33 He makes me as surefooted as a deer, leading me safely

along the mountain heights. Psalm 19: 1 the heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship. Psalm 19: 8 the commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight to life.

Prayer: Psalm19:13 Keep me from deliberate sins! Dont let them

control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.

PSALM19:7-11
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, Reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, Making wise the simple. 8 The commandments of the Lord are right, Bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, Giving insight to life. 9 Reverence for the Lord is pure, Lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true;

Each one is fair. 10 They are more desirable than gold, Even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, Even honey dripping from the comb. 11 They are a warning to those who hear them; There is great reward for those who obey them. Isaiah 59: 20 The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem, says the Lord, to buy back those in Israel* who have turned from their sins. 21 and this is my covenant with them, says the Lord. My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your childrens children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Psalm 23:6Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. 1 Chronicles 29:12 Riches and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is at your discretion that people are made great and given strength.

Acts 10:36 Im sure you have heard about the Good News for the people of Israelthat there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Psalm 25:3 No one who trusts in you (YAHWEH) will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.

Prayer: Psalm 25:4 Show me the path where I should walk, O Lord;
point out the right road for me to follow. 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

Prayer: Psalm 25:7 forgive the rebellious sins of my youth; look

instead through the eyes of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O YAHWEH.

Psalm 25: 8 The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. 9 He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them his way. *10 The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all those who keep his covenant and obey his decrees.

Psalm 25:12 who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. 13 They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the Promised Land. Psalm 25:14 Friendship with the Lord is reserved for those who fear him. With them he shares the secrets of his covenant.

Psalm 25: 15 my eyes are always looking to the Lord for help, for he alone can rescue me from the traps of my enemies.

Prayer: Psalm126:4 restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the

desert.

Psalm 26:5

I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join

in with the wicked.

DESIRE: Psalm 26:12 I have taken a stand, and I will publicly praise
the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:14Whatever we do, it is because Christs love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.

Purpose: 2 Corinthians 5:15

He died for everyone so that those who

receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.

2 Corinthians 5: 16 so we have stopped (must stop) evaluating others by what the world thinks about them.

2 Corinthians 5: 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting peoples sins against them.

Ephesians 5: 16 make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days.

Psalm 25: 15 my eyes are always looking to the Lord for help, for he alone can rescue me from the traps of my enemies. 1 Samuel 2: 10 those who fight against the Lord will be broken. Romans 10: 4 For Christ has accomplished the whole purpose* of the law. All who believe in him are made right with God. Isaiah 40: 31 but those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. 1 Peter 4: 16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his wonderful name! 1 Peter 4:14 Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you. 1Peter 4:15 If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other peoples affairs. 1Peter 4:17 for the time has come for judgment, and it must begin first among Gods own children.
