A pivot table in exel is a feature which aggregate the info in a rage & give a new perspective & forming a report.

we continue to slice the info by selecting additional fields from the pivot table field list.the pivot table field list is section in the top right which displays the fields in the data range.u might check or drag it to the lower portion.the lower right qudrnt area define where and how the data can be shown in the pivot table.the field can either be placed in the row or in the collum.u can also indicate if the info should be couned sum or avg.
