POVERTY IN AFRICA

INTRODUTION Is this picture Africa, although looks very beautiful, Africa now is a poor place.

Africa is a very beautiful country, but it is a country where many children born cannot eat satisfied rice, many children every walk naked in the sun, because they have no clothes can wear, there are some children to help parents work, they can not like other children do not have a happy childhood, and cause African countries long-term poverty, slow development of a variety of reasons. One important historical reason is the western country long-term colonial slavery and exploitation.

AFRICA µS GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

Africa is located in the southwest Asia. East Indian Ocean, the Atlantic coast in the west, north facing every Mediterranean and Europe, with the Suez Canal 300-metre-long habit for Africa and Asia dividing line. Mainland east to ha abundant Angle (longitude 51 degrees north latitude 24 points, 10 degrees 27 points), south to eritrea add of Cyrus Angle (longitude 20 degrees 02 points, 51 points) half 34 degrees longitude west, west to cape Verde (17 degrees north latitude 33 points and 34 degrees 45), north to gearan Angle (9 degrees longitude 50 points, northern latitude 37 degree 21 points). Area is about 3020 square kilometres (including nearby islands) south NATO long 8,000 kilometres, thing about 7,403 kilometers long. About one-fifth of the world's total land, after Asia, for 20.2% world second continents.

WHY DID AFRICA LONG- TERM POVERTY?

AFRICA IS VERY POOR REASONS: 1) The history long colonism, make African economic weakness, resources are exported primary products, product price by developed countries control, foreign trade conditions are very disadvantageous

2) Population increased too fast, pressure is too great

3) Arid climate and irrational use gold, aggravate the desertification of progress, seriously affecting farming production.

4) Many countries lack of experience, bad management and policy exist errors. AFRICAN OFTEN DROUGHT

Long ago water is one of Africa's most precious resources, caused by water warfare is very much, now Africa has 14 countries severe water shortages. In rural Africa, the average family only 40-50 litres water, while the United States every family daily water up to 700 liters. In South Africa, water scarcity situation more serious, only half of the people who are able to use cleaner water, if trends continue, according to this situation in Africa by 2025 half the people cannot use clean water. Africa's water crisis caused 6,000 people each year, about 3 million deaths in Africa because of lack of water population lived a poor life.

Annually and Africa has 200 million children die from lack of water. But each year about 180 million children die from diarrhea. AFRICAN CHILDREN

CHILD SLAVERY IN AFRICA

News reports circulated internationally that a Nigerianregistered "slave ship" carrying 250 children was sailing off the coast of West Africa. When it finally docked in Benin, no children were actually found on board. Nevertheless, the furor aroused by the reports helped "put a spotlight" on the reality of child trafficking in the region. "Trafficking is beginning to get on the policy agenda," he told Africa Recovery.

Because trafficking tears children away from the protection of their families and communities, it is especially perilous to their well being. An ILO study issued in June found that child trafficking in West and Central Africa is on the rise. Reports from Benin, Burkina, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Gabon, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria and Togo suggest that most of the children are sent to other countries for domestic service, or put to work on plantations, in petty trade, as beggars and in soliciting. The trafficking of children for commercial sexual exploitation was also reported. child slavery: Africa Trafficked children, the study found, were working between 10 and 20 hours a day, carrying heavy loads and operating dangerous tools. They often lack adequate food and drink. Nigeria reported that one out of five children trafficked in that country died of illness or accidents. Others contracted sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS. Although parents were sometimes persuaded by recruiters to send their children away to earn some extra income, often neither the children nor the parents were paid. In fact, many such children are "treated like slaves," It is clear message that African animals are extremely more important than its inhabitants! The world wants the minerals not the people in Africa.

Three or more generations lost their formal education; nobody has high school certificate or genuine driving license, so the future of millions of Africans is gloomy. The human bones are found in the streets by all sides during the rainy season, kids usually take them to makeshift shelters to play as they have never seen toys since birthday. Most of their playgrounds are mass graves of their parents whom were brutally murdered; these little ones have very few choices, they just born; grown here. They do not imagine a life which different from theirs exists, radios are seen sophisticated devices only possessed by the privileged ones never mind TV sets. In a paper presented to a pan-African conference on "human trafficking" held in Nigeria, agreed with the ILO assessment that child labour trafficking has become a "substantial problem" in the region The people are asking why the famine is everlasting, what causes hunger, when terminator will come, and whether massive starvation will ever go away? Poverty never takes a holiday. Help fight poverty today. It is never too late to help. It is never too late to make a difference. There are many ways you can help so please help today.

There are many children living on the streets with no parents and no relatives to care for them. Some of these poor children die in silence without the world ever knowing. It is time to do something. It is time to help!
