Traffic Advisory Weekend Manhattan MTA Bridge and Tunnel Work Starting on Saturday will Cause Lane Closures

Multiple projects will affect drivers in Manhattan for several days. By Kareem Jonhnson DNAinfo Reporter/Producer MANHATTAN ² The Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued a closure advisory on Friday alerting commuters of closures on several bridges and tunnels that will affect Manhattan drivers, starting on Saturday. The Brooklyn Battery Tunnel will have two lanes closed, one in both directions from 10pm to 5:30am Sunday through Thursday, with additional closures to occur if needed. The Henry Hudson Bridge will have one lane closed in both upper and lower levels from Monday through Friday of next week from 10am to 3pm, and Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The Queens Midtown Tunnel will have one lane closed in each direction Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge will have lane closures in both directions on the Harlem River Lift Span Monday through Friday from 10 am ± 2:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. through 5am Monday through Thursday, and Friday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. The RFK Bridge will have one lane closed from the FDR Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the 125 Street off ramp will have one lane closed Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
