Nonverbal Communication
• Definition: All messages other than the words that people exchange • It includes gestures, body language, sign, tone of voice etc.

Characteristics of Nonverbal Communication
 primarily communicate emotions, attitudes.  It shows contradict, regulate verbal messages.  It’s cues are often complex.  It’s cues are continuous.  It’s cues are generally seen as more reliable.  It’s cues are culture bound.
