VERB PATTERS = PATRONES VERBALES
The verb patterns are groups of English's verbs. These groups are conformed because they share / have something in common ( Feature, particular roles or a common way to be useful )

CAN YOU SHOW ME SOME OF THEM ?
I´m going to show you four (4) verb patterns.

VERB + To + VERB

VERB + VERB ing

AUX / VERB + VERB

PAST VERB + TO + VERB or VERB ing

•When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. •Thank you. I'd love to dance •They want to buy a new car. •I'd like to live in a hot country. •I hope to see you again soon. •What do you want to study ? •What would like to do tonight ? •I want to work with Dr. Laver. •Tim hopes to leave the stockroom soon. •Helen decided to go out with Michal. •Alice might agree to change wards.

The uses change the meaning

EXAMPLES
STOP: •I stopped drinking coffe ( I gave up the habit) •I stopped to drink a coffe (I stopped doing else in order to have a cup of coffe ) TRY: •I try to sleep ( I wanted to sleep, but I couldn´t) •I try counting sheep and drinking a glass of warm milk (there was possible ways of getting to sleep)
