Bend, Oregon Shopping Center, the Old Mill District, Launches Redesigned Website Shopping districts new site

redesigned for usability and direct linking options Bend, OR, September 09, 2011 -- Bend, Oregon The Old Mill District, Bend Oregons premier shopping area, today announced that it has re-launched a website redesig n at www.theoldmill.com. The website was modified based on consumer feedback, ma king it easier to navigate and find information on businesses and events in the Old Mill District. Weve been increasingly active in connecting with our customers via social media ch annels, said Noelle Fredland, marketing director for the Bend, Oregon shopping di strict. The website structure now allows us to link directly to the information w e are discussing in our online outreach, so that people can easily click through and navigate. The new architecture of the site allows the home page at www.theoldmill.com to r eflect current events, which research showed was the number one reason visitors came to the site. Visitors can immediately view a sidebar of the top three comin g events, store specials, and information about major happenings, such as Les Sc hwab Amphitheater concerts, in the main body of the page. In addition, the compl ete Old Mill District Summer Guide is posted on the new site, which provides a r esource for locals and visitors on everything happening in Bend, Oregon. Included in the redesign was the ability to add an independent URL for each reta iler, restaurant and business in the Bend, Oregon shopping center. This means th at the Old Mill District is able to provide every tenant with a page that is pop ulated with special offers, happenings and more.
