Math Workshop In math we learned new games that will be used to build fluency with our addition facts. These games are offered as choices during independent work time.

Shared Reading Do you learn by watching others? Shared Reading is the part in our day when your child can watch me read. I read from a big book or project text up onto our smart board. Once students are rolling, I will begin small group instruction. Assessments This week was committed to collecting assessment information. I use the information collected to determine what your child needs for instruction. Your child took a series of spelling tests. The information I gathered will be used to determine what types of spelling features your child is using confidently and which features he / she is using but confusing. It is at the “using but confusing” point I will begin instruction with your child. Class Blog Please visit our blog and register your email address at the bottom.
