(Too late for HLL lats, as the email only came today, but could be useful for other marketing companies) don't have many tips to offer, but I can tell you what they would be looking for in the interview. There are basically 7 competencies that are looked for: Objective Analytical Power Practical Creativity Entrepreneurial Drive Self Confidence and Integrity Clarity of Purpose Influencing Others And one more - i've forgotten what...... you must remember that during your interview, you will be checked for exhibiting your competency levels on the above criteria. Also, since you are looking for a lats entry they will be checking whether you will be ready to lead a team of say 30 sales people (if you want to join sales and marketing) within 5 months of your joining. Right through the interview, just make sure that you act confidently. They are looking for people with "passion". People who have the drive to go out there and perform. You have to exhibit that in your interview. Of course, apart from this I am sure you would be prepared with the other general things such as having visited their website, having some questions ready to ask them at the end of the interview, knowing why you want to join HLL etc..etc.... The Seventh one is: Market Orientation. The description of the competencies are: 1. Clarity of Purpose: Sees the whole picture, identifies a goal, clearly grasps what needs to be done to achieve a goal 2. Practical Creativity: Thinks laterally to identify new solutions for problems, Identifies patterns or trends based on experience or current approaches 3. Objective Analytical Power: surface Is intellectually rigorous, Digs beneath the

Entrepreneurial Drive: Is highly motivated towards achievement; has a bias for action; Actively seizes opportunities 6.
