to Iearn more about. Before you finaIize your Iist, make sure you've
read through the foIIowing:

another disease.)
Ɣ Is this a very rare disease? (if YES, choose another disease.)
Ɣ Has this disease been eIiminated? (if YES, choose another
disease.)
Ɣ Does this disease have genetic causes / are you born with this
disease? (if YES, choose another disease.)
Ɣ WiII Iearning more about this disease heIp prevent infection? (if
NO, choose another disease.)
Your goal is to have a list of 3 diseases that are relevant to Middle
School and High School students. Try to pick diseases that you
have had, or that friends of yours have had (like pimples, the flu,
etcetera).
