Google aps, micro office sharepoint, etc used to help w/ blogs, project management, online meetings etc. Business intelligence applications-> dashboards have real time performance with help managers w/ management control and decision making Managers getting new mobile tools, smartphones etc-> mobile platform helps with decision making and also responsiveness towards customers. Globalization challenges and Opportunities: A flattened world -the world is now flat; internet and global communication lowered economic & cultural advantages of developed countries -globalization; has challenges and opportunites -canada lost many manufacturing jobs to offshore, low cost producers -outsourcing advanced the development of new systems in amercia and worldwide -correletion bt globalization and IT systems?
