Approaching Expectations • • • Main ideas are supported by few relevant details and examples Ideas are largely rehashed from the module notes with little or no modification Ideas are analysed and evaluated in a limited way Ideas are organised in such a way that they are difficult to follow Students are not able to handle their peers’ questions during the Q&A session
Students will be graded based on their quality of work (either online debate or the presentation in class) There will be a 5 minute Q&A session after each review or presentation. As the platform for the showcasing of arguments are different (online forum & live presentation), students will be graded based on the quality of points put forth and their analysis of the question, not on the aesthetic value. (This does not imply that you could do a slip-shod job.) Grading will be done based on teacher evaluation Marks will be scaled down to 5% and included as part of the full-year grade.
