Teaming Up for a Cure

Casey Noce puts pink paint on Sydney Stiversons hand while Paige Comstock puts a hand print on a poster being prepared for Teaming Up for a Cure, an event at next weeks Adrian-Tecumseh volleyball game. All three are seniors at Adrian High School and members of the Varsity A Club. The club is raising money for breast cancer awareness with all money going to the Hickman Cancer Center.. The group has organized other activities such as a bake sale, T-shirts, spirit beads, wrist bands, and more to raise money.

Scissors Palace pumpkins


The front of Scissors Palace in the Tecumseh Plaza is decorated for October. All of the stylists participated by creating their own individual pumpkins. Pictured are pumpkins by owner Corinne Schlueter, Fay Hashley, Jannel Findley, Farissa Evans, Kerri Schikora and Miranda Steele.

A team of teachers and students from Sand Creek schools participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sept. 25 in Toledo.
