This letter serves as the final response to your October
19, 2011, Freedom oflnformation Act
(FOIA) request to the National Institute
of Standards and Technology (NIST) for "the standard
language or template paragraphs used for responses to FOIA Requests and FOIA Appeals in
your agency."
Your request was received at the FOIA Control Desk on October 19,2011, and was assigned
FOIA Log #12-012.
NIST has completed the actual search for responsive records and attached are eight (8)
documents consisting
of thirteen (13) pages that are being released in their entirety.
It was previously determined that you are in the "all other requesters" category, for which
chargeable services include search and duplication
ofresponsive documents excluding the cost
of the first 2 hours of search and the first 100 pages of duplication. The search time and
duplication costs are under the chargeable threshold and thus the documents are being provided
at
no cost.
Sincerely,
aZL.. _..__'
