Triple Chocolate Brownie Pie 2 eggs 1 cup sugar ½ cup butter, melted ½ cup flour 1/3 cup baking cocoa

(unsweetened) ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup chocolate chips ½ cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Vanilla ice cream Hot fudge sauce* Heat oven to 350˚. Grease an 8” pie plate. Beat eggs; blend in sugar and butter. In separate bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, and salt; add to egg mixture, beating until blended. Stir in chocolate chips, nut, and vanilla. Spread batter in prepared pan, and bake for 35 minutes or until set (pie will not test as done in the center). Cool, cut into wedges. Serve with ice cream and hot fudge sauce. 6 – 8 servings. *Hot fudge sauce: 1 cup chocolate chips 2/3 cup light corn syrup 1 6-oz. can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk In saucepan, combine chocolate pieces and corn syrup; cook and stir over low heat till chocolate melts. Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm. Stir in evaporated milk. Best if served warm by heating in microwave before each use. Store in fridge. Makes 1 2/3 cup.
