The funeral for former President Gerald R. Ford will be held on Tuesday, January 2 at 10:30 am at
Washington National Cathedral. There are no remaining public tickets for this event. We sincerely
regret any inconveniences caused by this schedule.

The following is the Cathedral's schedule for public hours in the days preparing for the service. *This
schedule was current as of 2 pm on December 29. Times and locations may change.*

Saturday December 30
* The main level (nave) will be closed to the public on Saturday; the lower (crypt) level chapels will
remain open.
* Services will be at 7:30 am, noon, and 4 pm; all held on the lower level.
* There will be no tours.
* The creche exhibit will be open.
* The Gargoyle’s Den (family activity) will be open.
* The Cathedral shops will be open.
* The grounds and gardens will be open to the public.

Sunday, December 31
* Sunday services will be held at 8 am, 9 am, and 11 am. There will be no afternoon/evening services.
The Cathedral will close at 12:30 pm.
The grounds and gardens will close at 1 pm.
* There will be no guided tours.
* There will be no organ recital.
* The Cathedral shops will close at 1 pm.

Monday, January 1
* All worship services will be held at St. Albans Parish Church (Massachusetts & Wisconsin Aves.,
NW). Services will be at 7:30 am, noon, and 5:30 pm.
* The Cathedral and its grounds will be closed to the public. We regret any inconvenience.

Tuesday, January 2
Funeral for President Gerald R. Ford.
We regret that there are no public passes available.

* Cathedral and grounds will be open only to pass-holding service attendees before and during the
service.
* The Cathedral will open to the public at approximately 1:30 pm.
* Services will be offered at 7:30 am & noon at St. Albans Parish Church. Evening Prayer at 5:30 pm
will be held at the Cathedral.
* The Cathedral shops will be closed.
* Tours will resume in the afternoon.

Service leaflets will most likely not be available as souvenirs following the service.
