Legislature 12th District is hitting the streets every morning with his new flyer. Carl Disalvatore has been on the streets of the 12th District in Watertown for the last month with his first flyer summarizing his work experience as a labor and employee relations attorney at Fort Drum, his military service as he retired as a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, his experience as an instructor (and member of United University Professionals union) at SUNY Canton helping to grow their Legal Studies program, and his community service as a DAV van driver and service officer for American Legion Post 61 and National Active and Retired Federal Employees, chapter 444. His new flyer outlines his stand on the issues. No taxpayer payments to private developers, no PILOTs or other tax breaks for hotels and housing developments, study the criminal justice system and jail population in the county to intelligently plan for the future and implement that plan. He is also a firm believer in Governor Cuomo’s call for consolidation of local services. He is the only county legislator candidate with a web site, www.ColonelDforD12.com. There are no debates in this election because the incumbent and Republican candidate has refused to go face to face with Carl Disalvatore. The only side by side comparison is on the Watertown Daily Times web site, it has yet to make it into print. There is a clear choice in policies and positions between candidates leaving the voters the winners as they have a clear choice. Candidate Carl Disalvatore is available for interviews upon request. Point of Contact is the candidate at 315-486-0754
