I`ve helped countless women lose inches oI arm Iat in weeks. Here are the 7 basic rules they
Iollowed:
1. Assemble meals from 4 groups. Every meal should have a Iood item Irom each oI the
Iollowing 4 groups: protein, carbohydrates, Iat and vegetables. Make sure your Iat and
protein sources are low in saturated Iat since it will divert carbohydrates towards arm Iat
cells. And only eat the slowest digesting carbohydrates (i.e., legumes) Ior Iastest results. Fruit
is a big no no!
2. Have a liquid meal immediately after the last exercise of your arm workout. When
you are working out, little channels called glut-4 transporters temporarily migrate towards the
surIace oI your muscle cells. They are responsible Ior letting nutrients into your arm`s
compact muscles. This provides a rare chance to Ilood your arms with a controlled amount oI
nutrients that will accelerate the arm toning process. You have to have a liquid meal (solids
take too long to digest) because the transporters disappear aIter 20 minutes.
3. !ractice ~glycogen depletion¨ and repletion. Once you get the hang oI eating as
described in rule #1, you have to start manipulating your carbohydrate intake. The key is to
keep it simple: on days you don`t workout reduce carbohydrate intake, on days you do

4. Target all 5 major muscles in your arms. At best, 99.9° oI women only target 2
muscles in their arms when working out. Your arms have 5 major muscles. II you want the

5. Stimulate all 3 ~muscle fiber types¨ in your arm. Generally speaking, your arms have 3
types oI 'muscle Iibers¨ that respond to diIIerent amounts oI weight. The easiest way to
stimulate all 3 types is to use heavy, medium and light weights in your workouts. Miss this
one, and your results will plateau very quickly. Tip: have some caIIeine right beIore working
out iI you don`t want to Ieel the 'burn¨.
6. ever do the same arm workout for more than 2 weeks. The Iemale body is a highly
adaptable organism. II you do the same workout over and over again, your results will come
to a screeching halt. Always have a new workout ready to go every 2 weeks. II you are a
beginner, you have a little more wiggle room here. II you are advanced, you have to change
your workout even more Irequently! Note: doing a diIIerent workout every time you walk
into the gym will give you the Iastest results.
7. Incorporate superset workouts. Once you are comIortable working out your arms with a
high level oI intensity, you should begin to do superset workouts. This advanced technique
involves doing one exercise immediately aIter another exercise without any rest in between.
Supersets will keep your arm-toning in the highest gear possible.

7-Day Diet: Cabbage Soup Diet Plan
Eat as much soup as you desire for seven days and you can lose 10 to 15 pounds. The recipe varies
slightly, but includes a variety of low-calorie vegetables such as cabbage, onions, and tomatoes,
flavored with bouillon, onion soup mix, and tomato juice. Each day of the seven-day program has
specific foods that must be eaten, including potatoes, fruit juice, many vegetables, and on one day,
beef.
Day One:
O Eat only fruit, all the fruit you want except banana.
O Drink unsweetened tea, black coffee, cranberry juice, and water.
O Eat as much soup as you like.
Day Two:
All you want - fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables of your choice. Stay away from dry beans, peas, and
sweet corn. Reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter for dinner. Eat as much soup as you
like but no fruit for today.
Day Three:
Combine days one and two, eat as much fruit, vegetables, and soup, as you like but no baked potato.
Day Four:
Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day,
along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.
Day Five:
You may have 10-20 ounces of beef (300-500g) and a large tin or up to six fresh tomatoes. Drink at
least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least
once today. You may eat broiled or baked chicken (skinless) instead of beef. If you prefer, you can
substitute broiled fish for the beef.
Day Six:
Eat beef and vegetables today. You can even have two or three steaks if you like, with fresh
vegetables or salad. NO BAKED POTATO. Eat your soup at least once.
Day Seven:
Eat all you want of brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetables. Be sure to eat your soup at
least once to day. No bread, alcohol, or carbonated beverages, not even diet soda.
Cabbage Soup Recipe for 7-Day Diet Plan
You can keep changing the ingredients used, so that you don't get bored of the same recipe.
Ingredients:
O 6 large green onions
O 2 green peppers
O 1 or 2 cans of
tomatoes (diced or
whole)
O 3 carrots
O 1 container (10 oz.
or so) Mushrooms
O 1 bunch celery
O 1/2 head cabbage
O 1 package Lipton soup mix
O 1 or 2 cubes bouillon (optional)
O 1 can (48oz) V8 juice (optional)
Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, etc.
Directions:
O Slice green onions, put in pot and start to saute with cooking spray.
O Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, take seeds and membrane out. Cut the green
pepper into bite size pieces and put in pot.
O Take the outer leafs layers off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, put in pot.
O Clean carrots and celery and cut into bite size pieces, put in pot.
O Slice mushrooms into thick slices (otherwise they will disappear in the soup), put in pot.
O If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of cayenne pepper (red pepper) now (1/3
teaspoon is quite a bit as the soup will get spicier as it cooks further).
O You can use beef or chicken bouillon cubes for seasonings. They have all the salt and flavors
you will need.
O $se about 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover and put heat on low. Let soup
cook for a long time (two hours works well).
O Season to taste with salt and pepper.
O Eat all the soup you want, whenever you want for the next 7 days.
Spicy Cabbage Soup Recipe
This is an excellent variation on the traditional cabbage soup recipe and excellent for those who like
hot stuff, Spicy food also speed up the metabolism.
Ingredients:
O 2 medium sized onion,
quartered and sliced thin
O 6 carrots
O 4 stalks of celery
O 3 medium cloves garlic,
chopped
O 1-2 tsp minced fresh red chili
pepper (Serrano, or jalapeno)
O 2 tsp ground coriander
O 1 tbsp dry mustard
O 5 cups + 1 tbsp chicken or vegetable broth
O 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
O 1 can (15oz) diced tomatoes
O 3 cups thinly sliced Savoy or green cabbage
O salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
O eat 1 tablespoon of broth in a medium soup pot. ealthy saute sliced onion over medium
heat for about 5 minutes.
O Stir in garlic and minced chili pepper. Continue to saute for another minute.
O Stir in dried coriander and mustard, and add broth, and rest of ingredients except cabbage,
salt and pepper.
O Simmer for about 20 minutes, uncovered, until all ingredients are tender.
O Add cabbage, and cook for another 5 minutes.
O Season with salt and pepper to taste.
