Thriller films typically star mature men, two of which we can see on the poster.

The two men have serious expressions, both being detectives: however, the man on the left seems more stern than his companion on the right, whose placement on the poster makes him look less aggressive. The pillar of the seven deadly sins running down the centre of the two men suggest a separation in character, as in thrillers, partnered characters tend to have clashing personalities. The sins have red slashes over them, connoting danger/death which is the main theme in thrillers.
