Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn Ieast day
Also in the day oI your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings oI your
months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt oIIerings, and over the sacriIices oI
your peace oIIerings; that they may be to you Ior a memorial beIore your God: I am the LORD
1 Samuel 20:5-11, 16-19

2 Chronicles 2:4
Behold, I build an house to the name oI the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn
beIore him sweet incense, and Ior the continual shewbread, and Ior the burnt oIIerings morning
and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts oI the LORD our
God. This is an ordinance Ior ever to Israel.
And in the beginnings oI your months ye shall oIIer a burnt oIIering unto the LORD; two young
bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs oI the Iirst year without spot;
And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt oIIerings, and meat oIIerings, and drink oIIerings,
in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities oI the house oI Israel:
he shall prepare the sin oIIering, and the meat oIIering, and the burnt oIIering, and the peace
oIIerings, to make reconciliation Ior the house oI Israel.
2 Chronicles 31:3
He appointed also the king's portion oI his substance Ior the burnt oIIerings, to wit, Ior the
morning and evening burnt oIIerings, and the burnt oIIerings Ior the sabbaths, and Ior the new
moons, and Ior the set feasts, as it is written in the law oI the LORD.
Let no man thereIore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect oI an holyday, or oI the new
moon, or oI the sabbath days:
And seven priests shall bear beIore the ark seven trumpets oI rams' horns: and the seventh day
ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: Ior my wrath
is upon all the multitude thereoI.
Be on the Watch Ior the New Moon & Appointed Feasts
All ye inhabitants oI the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he liIteth up an ensign on
the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants oI
the land tremble: Ior the day oI the LORD cometh, Ior it is nigh at hand;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate oI the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut
the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day oI the new moon it
shall be opened.
But iI the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not
warned; iI the sword come, and take any person Irom among them, he is taken away in his
iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be aIraid? shall there be evil in a city,
and the LORD hath not done it?
2 Chronicles 8:13
Even aIter a certain rate every day, oIIering according to the commandment oI Moses, on the

feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the Ieast oI tabernacles.
I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all
her solemn feasts.
And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go Iorth as the lightning: and the
LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds oI the south.
The LORD oI hosts shall deIend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones;
and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be Iilled like bowls, and
as the corners oI the altar.
And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the Ilock oI his people: Ior they shall
be as the stones oI a crown, liIted up as an ensign upon his land.
For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men
cheerIul, and new wine the maids.
