I began a diet high fat low carbohydrate. I didn't have any problem with my weight. I began this diet for good health. I stayed on the diet for exactly six months.I was eating fat pig meat milk, milk cream, cheese, cow butter. Plus 6 raw eggs per day. The carbohydrates I was taking them from raisins in the end of the day. Always my cholesterol was in the are of 180 - 230. After the diet I made on blood test and my total cholesterol was 304. my HDL was 55 my triglycherides 158.LDL 221. Lipoprotein a Lp(a) 9 Fast insulin was 7.9 Something went wrong can you have any idea why?Sometimes I was eating also 1/2 k iwi. I was trying to eat arround 60 grams carbos per day. I stopped the diet and in three days the cholesterol was 275 and after 4 months I cheched again and was 220. Any opinion will be highly apreciated. Sorry for my English Thanks Dimitris Greece. P.S One week ago I began the diet again and now I am eating only one egg and I try m y carbos to be 20 grams or less.
We've all heard that magnesium supplementation may help the PVC situation. What we HAVEN'T heard is that once your body gets deficient to the point of having sy mptoms (PVCs), then your body may not be able to absorb certain forms of magnesi um effectively. Some people take supplements for months and years and see no res ults - they're taking the wrong form of magnesium. Citrate is hard to absorb. Af ter switching from the supplements I'd been taking, I started to see gradual imp rovements in my PVCs and then they eventually left altogether.....and no more in somnia either ! The most easily absorable forms are asparatate, orotate, and gly cinate. If I can reach at least one person and make a difference, I will feel like i've succeeded! Good luck!
