The issuance of this document does not absolve the Truba in any way from executing his obligations in accordance with the agreement.General This document is issued as a guide to the Truba for installation of Steam Turbine. including compliance with local regulations. The Truba willtake full responsibility for the safety of all site operations and method of erection. the latter should take precedence.

Refer to the drawings for the clearance. loosen and remove the bolts installed at the .02mm by using the special jig (turnbuckles) and fix the jig. After fixing the jigs. horizontal joint of blade ring and disassemble blade ring upper half. And pull the inner casing in the transverse direction by approximately O. and place it in position with attention to fitting and sliding surfaces and radial key.6 Covering of opening at horizontal surface of LP turbine Fabricate the temporary step plates considering the safety and the strength required to cover the opening of the horizontal surface to prevent foreign materials from entering into turbine and also as a scaffold for the rotor setting. (2) Place blade ring lower half in position . *Se careful not to damage the packing (extra-mild steel plate) *Coat the extra-mild steel plate with a linseed oil beforehand. 9. 11 . Tighten the bolts of the horizontal joint and confirm that the horizontal joint fits with enough contact.9. *Coat the fitting and sliding surfaces with the anti-seizing compound (P-37 or equivalent) beforehand. Install and tighten the support for blade ring lower half in advance.5 Assemble LP outer gland lower half Assemble LP outer gland lower half to the LP outer casing lower half without the seal ring. (4) Measuring of total axial travel Push the rotor to GOV side and GEN side individually as much as possible from the position of the rotor with. <Allowance/Criteria> Mechanical run-out: ~ 0. Refer to rotor clearance table and confirm them within the criteria. Refer to the table for the rotor clearance (3) Measuring and adjusting of rotor clearance Set the rotor with "K" dimension. Then measure the rotor clearance in axial direction at the horizontal part after confirming "L" dimension. set the rotor in axial center position and measure the radial clearance at the horizontal part. And remove all the temporary cover and clean all the inner parts in LP turbine casing and the rotor.5 mm . inner casing and rotor has been completed. Start the measurement when the mechanical run-out has become stable. *Monitoring dial gauge set in the axial direction and record the contact portion. Then tighten the bolts with the design torque. and install and tighten the bolts at the horizontal joint after installing blade ring upper half. (2) Set a lead wire to each seal ring installed in blade ring upper half and inner casing upper half.5mm (4) Remove the special jigs installed to prevent from the blade ring distortion. Installation of upper half of LP turbine 11. *Fix the seal ring at the top one with a chock during the top clearance measurement.11.5mm 14 . Disassemble the upper half of them and measure the thickness of the relevant lead wire that is considered to be the top clearance. Then tighten the bolts with the design torque. O. <Allowance/Criteria> Support clearance: O. *Coat the fitting part and sliding part of the blade lings and the inner casing with the anti-seizing compound (P-37 or equivalent) before installing them.2 Installation of blade ring upper half and the inner casing upper half (1) Prepare the lower support liner of the blade ring and measure the thickness of support and lower support liner. And install and tighten the bolts at the horizontal joint after installing inner casing upper half. Finally install seal ring upper half as per the design after the measurement.

11. *Record *Check the clearance of the horizontal joint. (2) Temporary lifting of flow guide upper half in LP outer casing upper half Install a temporary special lifting jig to LP outer casing upper half and temporarily lift the flow guide by using the special jig.. (3) Installation of LP outer casing upper half Lift LP outer casing upper half with overhead crane and chain block.4 Removalof the special jigs (turnbuckles) for LP inner casing Remove of the special jigs (turnbuckles) for LP inner casing. Carefully place it in position and tighten the bolts at the horizontal joint.18mm *Machine casing. Because the interference between LP outer casing upper half.3 Measuring of total axial travel Push to the GOV side and Generator side individually as much as possible with LP Turbine inner casing lower and upper half finally assembled condition. <Allowance/ Criteria> Rotor axial travel GT side GEN side: Design Design +2.. reamer bolthole and etc. In order to avoid the situation mentioned above they shall be temporarily placed in position ..
