If the absences are justifiable enough just give oral reprimand or warning however. Teachers suffer from sorethroat that leads to cough and related sickness. I guess. In this way. I just hope that the administration will be more understanding to their employees. Official time should be well communicated to everyone. A bigger amount is a sure factor to maintain a perfect attendance. I've been so grateful to the administrators for giving me lots of considerations when it comes to my absences. I really am dedicated to my work. majority of the personnel can avoid tardiness if the official time in will be adjusted. Most of the time teachers contracted different illnesses due to overloading of work. BE COMPASSIONATE / UNDERSTANDING ETC. Other than those mentioned reasons. Maybe the administrators could think of ways on how to help teachers fight stress in their day to day living.g. More incentives and benefits for the Faculty and non-teaching personnel for it adds motivation not to commit tardiness and absences . if possible to lessen the number of loads for tenured and probationary teacher to avoid absences.. There would even be times when i have to sacrifice my family (leaving behind a family member who is sick. this will enable them to revive their strength and vitality. take time to talk and listen to the reasons why their attendance have drastically affected their work.
