1/10000 >>observations_. the university campus has good accessibility to all fundamental urban facilities including the main tansport to both the centre and to the regional as well as the local cores. The mapping shown on the left is made in the basis of one of the sections,TRANSPORT in BREEAM 98 for offices and EcoHomes 98 which are the official environmental assessments about the sustainable urban infrastructure. the good results under these methods mean a possession of a good sustainable urban system and so this system produces less CO2 altogether. In those assessment methods, the close local facilities are local stores and post boxes. the first ones are located within 500m from the campus entrance but the second one is not but within1000m from the same. however, the post office is located within 1000m, thereby this has to be created within the campus. All of them clarify that overall, the university campus is already equipped with better urban systems around it for living as well as for working.

This area holds three stations of the docklands light railways(DLR) including the termial, Beckton. the roads in this area are a dual carriage together with green areas. trees form edges of the roads. some of those 5 2 edges are moulded and shrubs. All this will contribute to reduce the CO2 emissions from the urban infrasturcutre by cooling the air and road surfaces and this existent green corridors are well connected and can be used for the planning of the school of architecture in order to create the pleasant air flows( air corriors along them from the fresh air from the dock in the south.)

number of passengers both on board and in alight in each of dlr stations from canning town to becton.(persons) overall, numbers of passengers of dlr on both board and alight are big at station near key urban facilities in the royal docks which are directly connected into them. that at canning town station are the highest at 7.678 and 7.529 respectively. that is because it is hub of major transport nodes and main gateway in this area from any other regions. second comes that of custom house which is directly connected into exCel(international exhibition centre) at 2.957 ant 2.908 respectively. none the less, gallions reach, one dlr statiton near uel docklands campus is one on the stations with the least number of passengers of dlr on both board and alight at 639 and 667 respectively. these numbers ar e less than half those at cyprus station juust next to gallions reach and station with direct connectionto uel docklands campus. assumption is that if school of architecture is located in , it can increase number of passengers of dlr at gallions reach with any other facilities, thereby contributing to boost local economy.

-tower 1 casts the shodows onto the 3 residential buildings during the long period of the day impeding completely the intake of the daylight of them. there need to be the clarifications about it and in the worst of cases, the replacement of them into those which are not affected by this situation. -tower 2 and 3 appear not to cause any problems with their neighbouring blocks.

the victualling yard was formed for carriage of the goods for the Royal Navy, such as rum, biscuits, salted meat, chocolate and soap. offices built in it are of historical importance and worth been seen.
after its closure, the victualling yard was reclaimed and supplanted to the pepys estates and parks. the pepys park is enormous and located both in front and back of the pepys estates.

deptford green, the name of these schools is the same as that of the street adjoining the st nicholas church which is located at the Greenwich. those school buildings are clad with bricks and appear to be very old.
it is one of the most important transport in London and 5 km long. Arched viaducts enable people to pass through them. this viaduct crosses edward street.
it was the royal naval dock but after the economic decline, it has the unique features about 4 m walls clad with bricks. it was closed and changed its name from that dock to the foreign cattle market. in 1913, it became the convoys wharf. however, actually, there is a plan of the regeneration about that convoys wharf.

DENSITY in this part is displayed by big VOIDS in the emergent territory. in it, CLUSTERING is made around those voids all points which form this territory are community spaces or open and green areas or playground thus, all polygons which belong to those points should be of equal importance except one which belongs to the mobile library. this is the temporary library which stops there for borrowing of books on Tuesdays only. at the heart of four voids, lie public estates which appears to be one of the reason why a enormous void is created in that area. the boundary of this emergent territory is coincidental to that of the real world. this is ROADS, OPEN & GREEN AREAS, THE VIADUCT OF THE NATIONAL RAIL WAY.

VS the contrast between papy's park and deptford green park is interesting. the first one has emergent territory which is a void whereas, the second one has the boundaries which are reminiscent of ramps or paths.

emergent territories above the enterprize zones seem to be divided into fragments. the boundaries of those fragments are not coincidental to anything in the real world.
