Over the next few months I will guide you through allyou need to do to look stunning on your wedding day ... and It doesn't have to cost a bomb! Just follbw this simple guide and you will look GREATon your Wedding Day.
If you want to loose weight CDr just tone up this ,isthe time to start. By dolnq lt gradu" ally you will hove the best long term results. If your not a fan of the gym do 9it at home I love YogalQsophy DVD by Mandy Ingber. She's the onefhat helped Jennifer Aniston get a great bod! Make your first appointment your hairdresser to discuss and try out hair styles. Make sure your happy with who your using. get good recommendation
The best tip I could clInd do give 0ny bride is 'look vourself', just more polished, If you fry to @oheovier or soffer than your re,gular rnoke-up then yeu'll 0nly feel uncomfortable on the day, And yOU'll look back at the photos and dlsllke them. Try different looks J months before veur wedding if you went to experiment. Your maRe-up doesn't need to be heavier than usual for the photos. You just need the right techniques andfhe right prod" uets folook picture perfect.
Primer isa must. The right primer will keep your make-up on longer. your face shine free and even diminish the appearance offine lines and large pores. Even if you don't wear a foundation if's a good idea to use a light weight one to even out your complexion. photos and videos tend to show every little thing. My Arlene Poole Mineral Tint Foundation is light weight and feels like a second skin. Or if your skin is top condition then go for a tinted moisturizer like Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Don't be tempted to apply a darker foundation to get a healthy glow it will look awful opt for an all over false tan instead.

We recently met up with the amazing Floral Designer Karen O'Hara from VOW Floral. and she has kindly shared her knowledge and expertise with us so you can make sure you get amazing flowers on your big day. Flowers can add colour and glamour to any bride's special day and Karen reveals her top tips on how to make your wedding blooming lovely at any time of the year. "Flowers add to any special occasion. They are vibrant, create a beautiful ambience and tie your overall theme together so its important that brides don't overlook introducing flowers into their big day." "Pick an experienced florist who can advise on how to inject personality into your wedding by carefully selecting the right flowers for you- every bride will have different tastes and an idea of what works for them. "Remember that your bouquet really needs
to compliment you and your dress. Then, you can add additional flowers to this depending on your venue or ceremony location." Flowers like fashion change by season and whether you are planning to be a winter snow queen or summer belle then picking the right petals is essential. "Roses remain most popular and you can also add lovely pearls. feathers. ribbons and much more to flower arrangements to add depth and interest." Karen adds; "Autumn and winter brings hardier flowers. For example roses and lilies always look fantastic and photograph really well too. Spring and summer boast softer flowers like sweet pea. It is best to include roses as well here to add substance to the bouquet. "VVhatever your taste and budget every bride can easily create the bouquet of her dreams."

What do you mean you don't like the cheesy stUff? It's the favourite part of my day at any wedding, But ifit's non cheesy you want the best advice I can give you is to call the OJ'sand explain to them what you are after and ask them to send you a cd of their ideas. However if this is all too much like hardwork why not create your own cd of music and instruct the OJ to play it on the niShi. Hope this helps s•.l'm off for a boogie to dandns queen whooooop whoooooooooopJ - Love Ant.
Dear Debs, Planntns weddinS5 is easy, dealins with the family is where the hard bit starts! OK, well if your sis lives half way round the world, then she MUST be aware she cant perform all these roles - I think you need two maids of honour, and invite one of your best girlfriends to do all the jobs and explain that you kind of HA VE to give your sister the title too - but really make a fUSS your friend on the day, your sister will of understand, andso will your friend GOOD LUCKDick x
Dear Rainbow sprite, I have visions of a woman in a weddins dressjust likejoesphs iechni-coloured dream coat! But I am very confident that the shade to make you smile and dazzle all the way up the aisle has been made and awaits your beady eye.. If you don'i want to be too shocking think about sold and silver or to be very traditional perhaps blue, which used to be the traditional colour of wedding dresses! if not then pick a colour that you know suits and 80 find, who's to say that you have to wear a wedding dress why not look at an eveninggown or formal dress. much love Ant xx
Dear Paula, Who's to say he has to wear a wedding suit why not his birthday suit!! that would give his inlaws to be something to discuss for a while! Groom formal in Bahbridg~ stock a range by Javier Amaiz I cannot stress to you enough how much I actually LOVE this range Their designs are bound to inspireyour man and I have no doubt he will look nothins less than a movie star on the biS dayFaitins that you may set yourself down to.JJBand start loving tracksuits! Dearest Maria, if I had a pound for every time we set that one! - Ok. less people means less cost! Keep your numbers low and you can still have a magical day, for instance you could have 40 close friends and famIlY and still have a great meal with wine for something like - 1500 - shop around, be prepared to hasgle. If you have smaller numbers you can perhaps have your reception in a restaurant, Happy PlanningDick x

ulie Wallace and Neil Divers were married after meeting four years earlier at the famous Portrush Nightspot Lush. Neil very romantically proposed by moonlight on one of the fabulous beaches in Cyprus with the traditional "down on one knee" proposal. Of course she was delighted and said YES straight away. Once they had made most of the arrangements, the invitations were sent out which were beautifully created by Neil's Uncle Divers, who does it part time for family and friends, a lovely personal touch. Julie started her day with her hair created by Toni Furtado from Simon FerrisColeraine, who also looked after her Mother. Her makeup was done by Judith Dinsmore who has been her beautician for 12 years. Julie arrived in style with limousines hired from Ivan Murdoch and Sons in Coleraine. Julie stepped out of the car wearing a stunning dress from Jenny Lindop, with her bouquet from Coleraine Florists completing her wedding look. Neil who had arrived earlier of course, bought his and the grooms men's suits from Bogarts. "We had our whole wedding at the Lodge Hotel in Coleraine" Said Julie. Julie walked down the aisle to Diana Culbertson playing Highland Cathedral on
the piano, a truly beautiful piece, and very majestic. After exchanging their vows and their rings, (from Gems, Coleraine) Diana then sang Song Bird made famous by Eva Cassidy, as well as Adele's Make You Feel my Love. After a beautiful ceremony Julie and Neil then held their reception in the Watson suite which had been decorated in warm yellow, and golds by the hotel. Flowers again by Coleraine Florists, and with chair covers from pretty little details. After the wedding breakfast, Davie Black span the discs for them who was recommended by a personal friend, who did an amazing job. We cant forget the mums who were also dressed fabulously, the Brides mothers outfit was from Couples boutique Coleraine and the grooms mothers outfit was bought from Jourdan in Belfast. "Neil bought me a surprise gift and gave it to me when he did his speech, it was a silver necklace from the Sphere of life collection with my birthstone inside it from our favourite jewellers, Gems" Julie told us. "I think my shoes were one of the most amazing parts of my outfits, apart from my dress of course, they were sandles with crystals placed around them, from Bishops in Coleraine" We Wish Julie and Neil the very best of luck, from All at NI Bridal.

eona Blaney and Les Lugg met twelve years ago in the shop where Leona was working, in her hometown of Cushendall, during her summer break from university, and were just friends until they began doting in 2004. Les is from Cornwall and hod just moved to Cushendall, for his first work placement with his first Civil Engineering job. Les very romantically popped the question at the top of the Arc de Irlornphe. In Paris, one of their favourite cities, and it seems Leona didn't suspect a thing as they gazed out over the twinkling Paris lights, as she turned to find Les down on one knee. "unforgettable" says Leona. As we just wipe a tear from our eye. Once Les and Leona set the dote they choose, Arlene from Cookstown Wedding Stationery to put together invitations to Leona's specifications, and all done in a few days, "0 first closs service" Leona Told us. Les started her "Big Day" with her hair being expertly prepared by Dyanne from Wedding Hair NL who also took core of the bridal parties hair. Leona's makeup was expertly applied by the Elite Wedding Team from Oonagh Bowman School of makeup. With Les and Leona decision to marry IN October 201 0 only being mode in march of the some year, it left a short time for Leona to choose her dress, however after trying on lots of lace dresses, which she hod thought she would like she decided that on elegant silk ivory gown from Marylise at Dream Weddings in Coleraine, who also supplied the Jewellery, veil, headpiece and shoes. Les and his groomsmen were
expertly dressed by Daryl at Hire Closs in Ballymena,"I can highly recommend them to any groom looking to get kitted out" said Les. Leona arrived in a stunning Rolls Royce, holding her fob bouquet from McPeakes Florist Belfast. and walked down the aisle of the beautiful Saint MalachVs Church on Alfred Street Belfast. to be married by Fr Paddy McKenna, an old family friend. During the ceremony the couple exchanged rings which were from Robert Adair Jewellers in Ballymena. The Wedding reception was held at the Merchant Hotel Belfast, where they were treated like "Royalty" with outstanding food, again with flowers from McPeakes dressing the room and tables. The entertainment was a traditional IrishCeili form Haste to the Wedding who got everyone on the doncefloor. even the Cornish Guests, and gave a great performance. Of course we have to mention the Mothers of the Bride and Groom, who were also looking fabulous on the day, Leona's mum was dressed by Snooty Fox in Dungannon, and the Grooms Mum looked stunning in her outfit from her favourite boutique in Truro. "We hod a truly fabulous day, and my special memory is for the speeches, with my father giving a a truly emotional one, and Les loved the trip around Belfast feeling like a Hollywood star in the Rolls Royce." Leona added. The lovely Les and Leona, didn't go on a big honeymoon as they were relocating bock to Cornwall shortly after the wedding, but will be going to the Carribean very soon to celebrate there first year together as a married couple! Lucky them.

Make way for the
Mini Honeymoon <
Thanks to Prince William and Kate Middleton - now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - the mini-moon is the trendiest way to spend the first few days of married life, Perhaps you want to go all out and splash the cash on a short but spectacular break or maybe you just want a few days to relax before jetting off on a lux honeymoon at a later date. Either way the mini-moon has developed into a fabulous post wedding bash option. Our travel editor Siobhan McGarry has pic ked out some of her favourite destinations for romance and relaxation.
Hotel Capo La Gala. Sorrento. Italy
Hop on a lunchtime flight and by sunset you could be living la dolce vita in this gorgeous boutique hotel which hugs the cliffside on the Sorrento coast and commands breathtaking views sweeping across the Bay of Naples. With only 22 rooms the individual attention each guest receives at Hotel Capo La Gala is unrivalled. Wander along Sorrento's cobbled streets, share a bottle of Prosecco in one of the charming pavement cafes and watch the town come alive. Sunbathing and sipping Limoncelio by the pool may well be top of your 'mini-moon' agenda but the amazing Amalfi Coast on the southern side of the peninsula is yours to be explored or why not don your designer shades for star spotting on the uber chic island of Capri which is just a short ferry ride away.
Parador de Toledo. Madrid. Spain
JUst an hour away from Madrid is one of the most romantic and charming medieval cities in Spain. Toledo is a maze of cobbled streets with a legend to be told on every corner. Perched on top of the 'Hill of the Emperor'. Parador de Toledo offers an unequalled panorama of the grand old city below. Irs one of over 90 state owned unique Poradores spread across Spain: each one more spectacular than the next. Parador de Toledo is a gorgeous modern building but many are medieval castles. Moorish fortresses and palaces. For instance other fabulous Paradores include Cuenca which is a former convent in the town of Castilla La Mancha. Set between two steep gorges the town is famous for its 'Hanging Houses' which balance precariously from the cliff foce. A footbridge which links the Parador with the town is covered in padlocks thot lovers have initiolled. After the padlock is secured to the bridge they throw the key into the water to show their eternal commitment to the unbreakoble bond of love. Parador prices range from 159 euro pps for 3 nights bed and breakfast. MAP Travel.in Dublin are the official agents and experts for the Paradores. www.maptravel.ie Tel: 00353 1 8783111. Aer Lingus operate daily flights from Dublin to Madrid. One-way fares currently start from 054.99 including taxes and charges.
belfast cookery school
What a treat it wosto try out the latest exciting development in Belfast! Head Chef Wayne Corvllle from Mourne Seafood Bar Dundrum is 'Master in Charge' of the newly opened Belfast Cookery School. Nerves disappeared quickly with the relaxed atmosphere created by the staff .With a glass of Sav Blanc in hand we were off! We watched, mesmerised as Wayne passionately and expertly demonstrated how to prepare and cook hake, brill and lobster. mix herbs and spices for a vinaigrette and plate up with finesse and style. The school is a state of the art training facility with the emphasis on learning in an enjoyable environment. After Wayne's demonstration we cooked our
own 'versions' of PiriPiriscallops with Asian slaw and coriander and then ate at a long table, sociably enjoying our dishes. This was repeated with our second course of fillet of hake with garlic herb crushed potatoes and lobster vinaigrette The best bit was the fairies came and did the washing up as we ate! The restaurant has its own fishmongers on site. They fully assist customers with all filleting and preparing of their purchases I even managed to pull off a perfectly recreated meal a week later to the amazement of my friends!
