December 9, 2011 - Alaska’s Congressional Delegation has sent a letter to President Obama asking him to act quickly when he receives the State’s request for a federal disaster declaration for Western Alaska. Gov. Sean Parnell on Monday declared a state disaster for the storm on Alaska’s West Coast last month and said he is requesting federal disaster assistance.
