What types of magazine and target audiences has IPC been associated with over the years? There are over 60 iconic media brands which have been produced by IPC media over the years. Print alone has reached over two thirds of women in the UK and 42% of UK men which is almost 26 million UK adults. The website has also reached over 20 million users every month 2. Why might IPC be an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine? What sorts of genres of music/types of magazines might they be likely to publish? Why might alternative publishers like Bauer be appropriate? IPC has diverse prints and digital portfolios that offer something for everybody, they also focus on three core audiences and these are: men, mass market women and upmarket women
