Purpose:

Build agility and strength

Procedure:

•Line up an OL and a DL about two yards away
•The OL starts in the bear–crawl position, the DL can be in a two or three–point stance
•On the whistle, the DL “rushes the passer” at about half speed.
•The OL must stay in bear crawl position and move in front of the DL, stopping his
penetration
•The object for the DL is to run directly at, or to either shoulder of the OL. Try to avoid
having the DL run a big looping rush route
