the dignity of difference

Balance of 2011: Movies December 25, 2011 Our list of the most remarkable films that were shown throughout the year is to maintain the tradition, very extensive (quite the contrary). Not only because the average quality of those was far from surprising us, but still under the limited time available to attend various film premieres. Two factors that, together, contributed decisively to this choice was negligible. To overcome this little failure we thought fit to join our list a series of masterpieces that earned their first national edition on DVD, whose excellence of the mise-en-scene figure obviously deserves this and any other lists that may to elaborate on the best movies of the year, decade or century. Reason for then leave here a total of ten films plus one, Faust, whose national debut look forward given the exceptional nature of genius and talent of its author, Alexander Sokurov. And let's not leave without noting that, contrary to the opinion almost everywhere, we were not dazzled by the latest work of John Canijo the hipervalorizado Blood of My Blood, whose mise-en-scne (forced too much) and aesthetic vision of the director lose ingloriously when compared with the sublime work of admirable actors.
