Learn Photoshop Elements - Dark Creepy Eyes Portrait From the Layers Palette, double-click to the lock

to unlock the layer. From the Enhance menu, select Convert to Black. Choose Portrait from the options. From the Enhance menu, select Adjust Lighting then Levels or cmd/ctrl-L. Adjust the white slider to the left, the grey slider to the right, and the black slider to the right. From the Toolbox, select the Dodge tool. Using the bracket keys [ ] adjust the brush to approx. the size of the eye. Lighten the eyes by clicking on the iris a few times. From the Layers palette, hold down the cmd/ctrl key and click on the New layer icon (dog ear). From the Edit menu, select Fill with Black. From the Toolbox, select the Polygon lasso. Ensure you are on Layer 0. Make a selection around the eye. Click Refine edge and adjust so that just the eye is visible. Duplicate the eye cmd/ctrl-J. Repeat for next eye. From the Layers Palette, reduce the opacity of Layer 0 until the image is dark. From the Toolbox, select the Burn tool. Select Layer 2 and 3 and darken the top part of the eye. To add color to the lips, add a new Layer in the Layers palette. Choose a dark red color in the foreground color palette. Paint the lips. In the Layers Palette, change the blending mode to Color Dodge.
