Tom Wolfe Driving around in NYC In his all-white pimped out car Wearing his trademark white

suit You might think him, a rock star. Like good wine as it ages He has his own unique bouquet And changed the world of writing By putting words down his own way. Books on the bestseller’s lists With millions sold worldwide He’s handled his success well And taken it all in stride. He’s placed the American Novel On a brand-new different level With a detailed realism To the stories that they tell. Not everyone agrees with him But, they will never pass that test For only time and history will tell Who is the, “best of the best”. This is just my little tribute To this man and his “word” As I write mine in my own way And hope, they might be heard. Del “Abe” Jones
