The I-Open Library builds connectivity to visitors and contributors representing business, government, civic, and research from many parts of the world. Library content published to I-Open’s social media communities generated 1,225,000 views during 2010 and 2011. Categories include health care, energy efficiency, social network theory, land stewardship, water conservation, local food systems, spirituality, leadership, technology, futuring, and many others. The I-Open Library also contains six broadcast channels supporting Northeast Ohio public conversations convening leaders to advance problem solving for economic development. At the time of this report, I-Open broadcast channels were viewed for a total of 475,561 broadcast minutes, or approximately eight thousand hours by audiences from around the world since 2008. 2 solutions – or what is known as “Ah, ha!” moments – to improve capacity building in organization leadership, business processes, and community initiatives. Today, every business is affected by unfamiliar and unexpected social, economic and environmental disruptions that can result in complicated and many times, complex industry challenges. For entrepreneurs building local-to-global enterprise networks or businesses seeking to optimize capacity in social commerce, the I-Open library is an indispensable source of multi-media knowledge about innovation. To date, only half of this valuable library content has been published. Because we’d like to safeguard I-Open knowledge assets and do more for library contributors and audiences, I-Open is seeking corporate sponsors and donations to support the purchase of equipment and software upgrades, content curation, publishing, database storage, and communications to improve awareness for what has become a unique educational resource serving a growing community of global entrepreneurs.
