We will learn more about Joshua and how God used him during the crossing of the Jordan

River. Come and experience more of God’s amazing ways!

“When the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priest carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them. Now the Jordan is at flood stage during all of harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away.” Joshua 3: 14-16

The Bible is filled with God’s promises. God promises to always be with you and always love you. God is faithful to keep His all of His promises! How hard or easy is it to trust God to keep His promises? Spend time in prayer asking God to help you trust Him more.

How did Rahab show her faith in God?

Have you ever thought about where your food comes from? Think about the food on your table and trace it all the way back to where it was grown. What part do you think God had in providing your food? If you trust God to provide food for you, what else can you trust God to provide?

Practice your memory verse. You can find it in the GPS or in your Bible in Joshua 24:15b.

God promises to always be with you. Think back over your week. When did you trust God was with you? When was it harder to trust that God was with you? Draw a picture or write words that show when trusting God was easy and hard. Do this each week. Pray that times you trust God more easily increase!

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15b
