Report format

Seminar report must be neatly typed using Times New Roman fonts with 12 font size, 1.5 line spacing, Paragraph justified on both sides Use A4 paper size Use 1.25 inches left margin, 0.75 inches right margin, 1 inch for bottom and top margin Every page except cover page, abstract page, reference page must contain the header with seminar topic title and footer with Dept. of Industrial Production Engineering. Every page must contain the page number, page number must start from introduction chapter Refer to the Cover page format displayed in the notice board Use soft binding for report with dark blue tape on left side , use of sliding clips are not allowed

Guidelines for report preparation


Report must contain minimum of twenty five pages and maximum of thirty pages excluding cover page, abstract, contents and reference pages. At least two technical papers from international journals must be referred for preparing the report and those papers must be submitted to the coordinator duly signed by the guide. Reports with contents directly copied from internet will be rejected and no time will be given for further preparation Reference must be properly quoted in the following order o Title of the paper, title of the author, title of the journal/book, page no., vol., year Three copies of the report must be prepared

Contents of the report Transparent sheet Cover page Abstract Contents page Introduction Chapters organized properly for presenting concepts, principles, methodology, operations, fabrication, manufacturing, applications, case studies etc.

Guidelines for PPT preparation and Seminar presentation

Each student will be given 10 minutes Slides must be prepared with white background and coloured fonts of legible size Twenty slides have to be prepared covering entire topic. Soft copy of the report and ppt must be written on CD is to be submitted to the coordinator Presence of all students for all seminar presentation is compulsory

Last date for submission of the report along with CD to the coordinator duly signed by the Guide, Seminar coordinator, HOD. :
