Role Title: Procurement Management Trainee Job Purpose

To assist the Procurement Team in developing and implementing the Procurement strategy
for the Organization, through provision of comprehensive information on market dynamics, metals pricing trends, sourcing strategies etc. across geographies

Primary Responsibilities

Sourcing Strategy & Research Assistance

Assist the Procurement Team in developing & implementing the Procurement strategy for respective geographies, by conducting research on the auto/domestic/industrial/retail sectors for scrap procurement Conduct analysis of various geographies, based on their potential for supplies of raw materials and scrap, and provide inputs to the Procurement Team Provide inputs for fluctuations in metals prices through robust market analysis in order to aid alignment of procurement targets Prepare reports of findings through market research, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text for easy consumption of key stakeholders Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution to help the organization refine its strategies Evaluate performance of suppliers under the guidance of the Procurement Team and assist in designing and rolling out the Supplier Development Program

Actively identify leading practices in the procurement function and provide ideas to the Procurement Team for evaluating the feasibility of implementation at Neuerth Publish daily, weekly, monthly; as appropriate MIS and reports for the Procurement Team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of non-ferrous metals & alloys e.g. Lead, Aluminum, Zinc, Copper Ability to manage ambiguity Process oriented and willingness to work hands-on
