List of Supplies Needed: 1 sheet 12 x 12 cardstock Sticky Strips (or strong adhesive tape) DSP paper (6 pieces 4” x 4”) Embellishments to decorate (ribbons, buttons, bows etc) 5 – 6 photos, able to be cut to about 3 ½”
leaving flaps on each side. giving you 9 x 4” squares. measure in 3 ½” and score again down to the first horizontal score line (refer to photo) Cut away the outsides of each corner square. Cut out one corner square and put this to a side. This will create your “lid” From each remaining corner.Instructions: Score the 12 x 12 cardstock at 4” and 8”. 2|Page . Turn 90o and do the same on the other side.
o You will now need to attach the lid. but DO NOT ASSEMBLE YET. to the top of your cube. (I forgot! Lol) Place sticky strip to the RIGHT side of your cube tabs. 3|Page . you will notice I have not yet attached the bottom right hand strip.o From the scraps you have just cut away. In the 2nd pic. You will use these to create more “flaps” on your cube. using one of the folded strips. Add sticky strip to the sides you are going to add your tabs to. These will need to be folded in half (or scored) lengthways. you will need 5 strips 1” x 4”.
decide now which one this will be. Think Valentines Day. Mothers/Father’s Day. If you plan to use one of the sides as a journaling box. 4|Page . Leave this side blank while you decorate the other sides. You can embellish and decorate to your hearts content. and add your photos. I used 5 photos cut down to 3 ½” and 3”. Birthday or whatever occasion suits.
