This study will also paying close attention to how the editing style and camera work helps to convey the depth of the characters and strengthen the non-linear narrative structure. Research into this essay will include works such as ‘Story : substance, structure, style, and the principles of screenwriting’ By Robert McKee a publication that will help identify guiding structural principles that assist the production to communicate effectively with the audience. Relevant works by Sigmund Freud will also be studied to gain a better insight of the relationship shared between parents and their children especially in the male child.
