Town Hall meetings set to discuss 2012 Capital Bond Program; Residents can provide input to the Citys Needs Inventory
DALLAS - The first round of Council-hosted town hall meetings has been scheduled in preparation for the proposed 2012 Capital Bond Program. Residents are invited to attend the meetings and provide input to the Citys Needs Inventory. The meetings will also explain how a capital bond program works; provide information on previous bond programs; the Citys capacity for this bond program; and a schedule for the programs development. After City Council briefings are held to discuss input received for the Needs Inventory, a second round of town hall meetings will be held in May to present the City Managers 2012 Capital Bond Program recommendation. Council will be briefed again in June, after the second round of meetings, and in August will deliberate and call for the Bond Program to be placed on the November ballot. Input to the Needs Inventory can also be provided online at www.dallascityhall.com. Although listed by Council districts, the public is invited to attend any of the following meetings:
