"astronaute* verliest gereedschapskist"

kist komt in een baan om de aarde
gereedschap tolt rond de kist:
bahco, nijptang, hamer, spijkers
in een gewichtloze elegantie

wij staren naar de hemel
en denken de kist te zien
heavy duty flonkerend als
sterrenbeeld van de kluster

wij zoeken een passende naam:
Pandora? Poederdoos? Damestasje?
wij zoeken een ascendant:
Gamma? Praxis? Karwei?

wij denken dat dit voorval geen toeval is
wij denken dat het een mooie inval is
wij denken dat het een strakke actie is
van het Instituut Voor Praktische Poëzie

twinkelend aan het oostelijk firmament

Toolbox
 
"astronaut* loses toolbox"
 
box comes in an orbit around the earth
tools are circling around the box
bahco, nail puller, hammer, nails
all in a weightless elegance
 
we gaze at the sky
and fancy to see the box
in heavy duty glitter as
the constellation of the fitter
 
we think of a fitting name
Pandora? Powderbox? Handbag?
we think of an ascendant:
US Tools? Toolmart? Spacecraft?
 
we think that this event is no coincident
we think it is a nice irruption
we think it is a cool action
of the Institute For Practical Poetry
 
twinkling at the eastern firmament
