Facts: P filed a Petition for Review to the Supreme Court of a decision of the Court of Appeals
in a case involving a vehicular accident. Said Petition raises questions regarding the cause of
the accident and the persons responsible for it.

Issue: Whether such questions can be reviewed by the Supreme Court

Held: No. Such questions are factual issues which the Supreme Court cannot pass upon. As a
rule, the jurisdiction of the Court is limited to a review of errors of law allegedly committed by the
appellate court. True, there are instances when this Court may review factual issues, but P has

failed to demonstrate why his case falls under any of them. There is no contrariety between the
findings of the trial court and those of the CA as to what and who had caused the accident.
